Spartan
Football has become a model of success. This past year, the Spartans achieved
goals that have been set for years. The boys in East Lansing brought home the Big
Ten Legends Division trophy, a Big Ten Championship and won the Rose Bowl.
These victories, as well as 13-1 record and no losses in the Big Ten, made
the Spartans the third best team in the country according to the final AP (Associated
Press) polls and BCS (Bowl Championship Series) standings. Many have written
off the recent success as a fluke, or one hit wonder, but I am here to prove
that the Spartan Football program is here to stay and will continue to play at
an elite level. This feat will not be easy for the Spartan's, but if they
continue on overcoming obstacles, recruiting success, elite coaches, keep a
supportive fan base and more, the Spartans will continue on as one of the top
football programs in the nation.
